Online donation present a convenience and benefit for those who may not regularly attend our church or are separated by large geographic distances. In order to provide the convenience and benefit in a secure and safe environment, we need to partner with a certified payment processor (i.e PayPal). In doing so, each donation is assessed a transaction fee of $0.30 plus 2.9% by the payment processor. We encourage you to consider the fee your donation will be assessed by the payment processor. If you are using this online donation service merely for convenience, please consider donating in such a way as to cover the additional transaction fee or to use another means such as mail.
- Online donation presents the opportunity for donations to be funded by various personal financial sources including a bank account or a credit card. While credit cards are a convenient form of payment, we as a church discourage the accumulation of personal debt. We understand that it is possible for credit cards to be used responsibly, but they can also pose a real temptation and stumbling block for many other people. If your donation would be funded by credit card, we strongly encourage you not to donate unless the donation is already covered by your personal budget and is not creating additional personal debt.
